If Mr. Irving elects to contribute on pensio

his retirement might date from 24th July instead of 23rd July. His birthday falls on 24th July and the alteration

would reduce the amount of the loss of widows' and orphans' pension resulting from reduced contribution. If he continues to contribute on salary the question does not

arise.

If you approve of the pension and of the proportions payable by each Government I should be glad if the Crow Agents could be instructed to pay the pension due from the funds of this Colony.

I have the honour to be,

gir,

Your most obedient humble servant,

7.2. Stufts.

Governor, ko.
